So I have to admit, this is my very FIRST blog. I'm a blog virgin! In fact, I started this blog because of a discussion we had in my media law class today. We were talking about how influental blogs were to journalism and how the media even has to cite blogs now! I thought to myself, "wow, how cool would that be!" (Yeah, I know, class story...INTERESTING!)
...So here I am, blogging away.
I am a college student who should be graduating in a month, but I will not. No, while my high school friends dawn the long black gowns I will be sitting in classrooms, hearing about blogs and daydreaming away! But that's okay, because here's the thing. I don't know what to DO! I have no idea...
Honestly, it's funny, because I used to be a career counselor! HA! I used to make other people take assessments and tell them what they should do with there life when I have NO CLUE. Ironic, huh? I mean the thing is, I don't even have a "dream job." Is that weird? Like most people are like "...yadda yadda well i would LIKE to do _____ but right now I am just doing _____." And I am like, "well i would like to shoot myself in the foot because I feel like a lazy unmotivated LOSER!"
I mean, what the heck! I am smart, responsible, organized...but what is wrong with me???
Here's a challenge for you. I am going to list my interests, likes, dislikes, etc and YOU should suggest a career for me! Here it goes:
I like being organized (I write everything down in my planner even if it has already past just because I like to write stuff in there and feel organized, like I have stuff to do, HAHA)
I like shopping
I like decorating
I like watching TV (if there is a tv tester i will take it!)
I like being outdoors, but only when it's pretty outside and I don't want to do physical labor
I like being creative and artistic
I like creating powerpoints, so I think I would like web design like stuff!
I like taking pictures
I am good at writing...don't really like writing that I have to turn in to someone because that takes all the fun and sponteneity out of it!
I don't mind public speaking if I know what I am talking about
I have thought about event planning, but not so sure about wedding planning
I like dress up clothes but have to have money to buy nice ones!
I don't like mean people
Alright people, any ideas??? I'll be waiting! :P
